Navigating the Current DEI Landscape as Communicators

In the midst of sweeping changes surrounding DEI initiatives, Cincinnati PRSA remains committed to prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion in everything we do. Our members and guests recently shared in an important and timely conversation led by Amy E. Hull to discuss how we approach DEI as communicators. Thanks to all who attended and to Amy for hosting our Chapter. These conversations will continue as we strive to be a resource for communicators throughout the Cincinnati region. Ethics Moment

As PR practitioners, when planning and creating social media campaigns that deliver results for your clients and organizations, there’s a long checklist of things to think about…platforms, formats, timing, words, visuals, links, algorithms, community management, influencer partnerships, paid/organic, legal pitfalls, and more. Plus, you’re likely juggling multiple campaigns at once.

Read more on the blog from Ethics Director, Holly Ingram, APR about how the PRSA Code of Ethics can help you stop and think about the trust you’re seeking to build with how and what and you’re communicating, including on social media.
