1200 Gest St.
Cincinnati, OH 45203

Following the chapter's program, Mission vs. Margin: What Nonprofit and For-Profit Communicators Can Learn From Each Other, Join Cincinnati PRSA in giving back to the community. For the second year in a row, we'll volunteer at Queen City Book Bank, helping support its mission to provide books and literacy resources throughout the region.

Volunteers will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of QCBB's operations and assist with hands-on projects, including sorting and organizing donated books and materials. Space is limited to 10 volunteers, so early registration is encouraged.

Parking and Directions: Parking is available in lots directly in front of and behind the building.

Map here Look for the Yellow Bus mural on the building façade.

Please note that Gest Street is currently closed between Seventh Street and Freeman Avenue due to the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. The closure does not affect access to Queen City Book Bank, but it may alter your route. Detours are well marked.

Other notes:
• Volunteers will be working in a warehouse environment. Dress comfortably and for the weather.
• Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.
• Feel free to bring a water bottle. QCBB has a refill station and bottled water available.
• If you need accommodations, please contact communityservice@cincinnatiprsa.org in advance so we can make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Support Queen City Book Bank: Bring new or gently used books for children in Pre-K through sixth grade. Books featuring diverse characters, cultures and experiences are especially appreciated.
Donate online:  You can also make an online donation and enter "Cincinnati PRSA" in the "This is in honor of" field.
